Angie and I feel very blessed every day. We both love to give and feel it’s important to align ourselves and our team with a charity. We have been fortunate enough to embrace two charities of choice.

The first, an amazing family who has created a foundation that is music to our ears, The Victoria Alviti Foundation. This foundation funds music education programs that offer opportunities for active participation in music. The programs impact the lives of nearly 2,000 students each year though partnerships with schools across Southern New England. They are passionate, determined and exhibit the same beliefs we share. They truly place close to every penny raised in the hands of helping keep music alive in our public schools. They are a beautiful family who has now become part of ours.

Next, we were introduced to The Izzy Foundation in 2018, and it was love at first site. The Izzy room is a home away from home for families whose children stay at Hasbro during their treatment process. Izzy’s favorite color was purple, so the room is bright, warm and soothing. The “home” is located on the fifth floor and offers the children and their family’s food, coffee, etc. As many of the comforts of home they can squeeze in. It’s a space where families can take a moment without being too far away. In addition to focusing on the family’s needs while in treatment, it also provides scholarships to some of the children or siblings. We began by supplying them with lunch once a month and have since committed to three times per month.

We are committed to making sure these little ones, as well as their loved ones, feel the comfort of a nice meal and the warmth of the love from our Blackie’s family.

We do our best to support other worthy, local causes but can’t say yes to all. Please look into these Foundations and know you will get that wonderful “feel good” feeling just being near the families.

They have an amazing spirit which we’re sure comes from Victoria & Izzy!
